Agreement
- Article 1 (Scope of Application)
- Accommodation contracts and related agreements entered into by this hotel with guests shall be in accordance with the provisions of these general terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these general terms and conditions shall be in accordance with laws and regulations or generally established customs.
- In the event that this hotel agrees to a special agreement to the extent that it does not contravene laws, ordinances and custom, such special agreement shall prevail notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
- Article 2 (Application for accommodation contract)
- A guest who wishes to apply for a contract of accommodation at the hotel shall provide the following information to this hotel
- Name of the guest Name of the guest
- Date of stay and estimated time of arrival
- Accommodation charge (in principle, based on the basic accommodation charge in Appendix 1)
- Other items deemed necessary by this hotel
- The person who has applied for accommodation shall immediately submit a guest list containing the name, address, telephone number, etc. of the person staying at the hotel when requested by this hotel, even after the accommodation contract has been concluded.
- This hotel may, on any day prior to the scheduled stay, make a telephone call to the contact address given by the guest to confirm the details of the reservation, etc.
- If, during the stay, the guest requests to continue the stay beyond the date of stay as stipulated in item 2 of the preceding paragraph, this hotel shall treat such request as an application for a new accommodation contract at the time such request is made.
- A guest who wishes to apply for a contract of accommodation at the hotel shall provide the following information to this hotel
- Article 3 (Formation of Accommodation Contract, etc.)
- The accommodation contract shall be concluded when this hotel has accepted the application as stipulated in the preceding article. However, this shall not apply when this hotel proves that it has not given its consent.
- When an accommodation contract has been concluded pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the basic accommodation charge for the period of stay shall be paid by the designated date as an application fee determined by this hotel.
- The application fee shall first be appropriated to the accommodation charge ultimately payable by the guest, and if a situation arises where the provisions of Articles 6 and 18 apply, the application fee shall be appropriated in the order of penalty followed by compensation, and any remaining amount shall be returned at the time of payment of the charge pursuant to Article 12.
- In the event that the application fee as stipulated in Paragraph 2 is not paid by the date designated by this hotel in accordance with the provisions of the same paragraph, the accommodation contract shall cease to be effective. However, this shall apply only in the event that this hotel has notified the guest to that effect when designating the date for payment of the application fee.
- Article 4 (Special Contract that the Payment of the Application Fee is Not Required)
- Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding article, this hotel may accept a special agreement not to require the payment of the deposit as set forth in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article after the conclusion of the contract.
- In the event that this hotel does not require payment of the deposit as stipulated in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article or does not specify the date of payment of said deposit when accepting an application for an accommodation contract, it shall be deemed that this hotel has complied with the special agreement stipulated in the preceding paragraph.
- Article 5 (Refusal to Conclude an Accommodation Contract)
In the following cases, this hotel may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract with the guest- When an application for accommodation is not in accordance with these general terms and conditions
- When there is no room available due to full occupancy
- When it is recognized that the person who intends to stay at the hotel is likely to commit an act contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations, public order, or good morals in connection with the stay.
- When it is recognized that the person who intends to stay falls under any of the following a to c.
- Boryokudan (organized crime groups) as defined in Article 2, Item 2 of the Law Concerning Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Groups (Law No. 77, 1991) (hereinafter referred to as “Boryokudan”) (hereinafter referred to as “Boryokudan”), Boryokudan members (hereinafter referred to as “Boryokudanin”) prescribed in Article 2, Item 6 of the same law. (iii) Boryokudan, quasi-Boryokudan members or Boryokudan-related persons and other antisocial forces.
- Boryokudan or a juridical person or other organization whose business activities are controlled by Boryokudan or Boryokudan-involved persons.
- A juridical person of which any of its officers falls under the category of Bouryokudan-in (Boryokudan Member).
- When a person who intends to stay at the hotel does or says something that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
- When it is clearly recognized that the person who intends to stay at the hotel is a person with a contagious disease.
- When the person seeking accommodation makes violent, threatening, blackmailing, or intimidating unreasonable demands of this hotel or its employees, or demands a burden that exceeds reasonable limits, or when it is recognized that a similar act has been committed in the past.
- When the hotel is unable to accommodate the guest due to natural disasters, facility breakdowns, or other unavoidable reasons.
- When it is recognized that the person seeking accommodation is intoxicated, or his/her speech or behavior is extremely abnormal and may cause inconvenience to other guests.
- When it falls under the provisions of the metropolitan ordinances.
- When a minor is staying alone without a guardian’s permission.
- When a guest makes an application for lodging without actually intending to stay at the hotel.
- When a guest who intends to stay at the hotel makes an application for accommodation while concealing his/her own commercial purpose.
- Article 6 (Guest’s Right to Cancel Contract)
- The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by making an offer to this hotel.
- In the event that the guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract due to reasons beyond his/her control (except in the event that this hotel has designated the due date for payment of the application fee and requested payment thereof pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 2, and the guest has cancelled the accommodation contract prior to such payment), this hotel shall charge a penalty as set forth in Schedule 2. ), a penalty charge will be applied in accordance with the provisions listed in Appended Table 2. However, in the event that this hotel accepts the special contract stipulated in Article 4, Paragraph 1, it is only when this hotel has notified the customer of the obligation to pay the penalty charge in the event that the customer cancels the accommodation contract in accepting the special contract.
- In the event that the guest does not arrive at the hotel by 24:00 p.m. on the day of the stay (or 2 hours after the estimated time of arrival, if such time has been specified in advance), this hotel may deem that the accommodation contract has been cancelled by the guest staying at the hotel.
- Article 7 (Right of this hotel to cancel the contract)
- This hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases.
- When it is recognized that the guest is likely to commit an act contrary to the provisions of law, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation, or when it is recognized that the guest has committed such an act.
- When a guest staying at the hotel is recognized as falling under any of the following a to c.
- Boryokudan (organized crime groups), Boryokudan members, quasi-constituents of Boryokudan, or persons related to Boryokudan, or other anti-social forces.
- A juridical person or other organization whose business activities are controlled by Bouryokudan or Bouryokudan-members.
- A juridical person of which any of its officers falls under the category of Bouryokudan-in (organized crime group) member.
- When a guest uses language or behavior that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
- When a guest is clearly recognized as a person with a contagious disease.
- When a guest makes violent, threatening, blackmailing, or intimidating unreasonable demands of this hotel or its employees, or demands a burden exceeding a reasonable range, or when it is recognized that a similar act has been committed in the past.
- When a guest cannot be accommodated due to a force majeure such as a natural disaster.
- When a guest is intoxicated, or when his/her speech or behavior is so abnormal that he/she is deemed to be a nuisance to other guests.
- When a guest does not comply with the prohibition of smoking in the room (including electronic cigarettes, etc.), tampering with fire-fighting equipment, and other rules of use established by the hotel (limited to what is necessary for fire prevention). (2) When a guest does not comply with the rules and regulations of the hotel.
- When it falls under the provisions of prefectural ordinances.
- When a guest does not comply with the prohibitions in the rules of use stipulated by the hotel, such as tampering with fire-fighting equipment, etc.
- When minors stay alone without the permission of their parents or guardians.
- When a guest who intends to stay at the hotel makes an application for accommodation while concealing his/her own commercial purpose.
- When a guest who intends to stay at the hotel makes an application for accommodation while concealing his/her own commercial purpose.
- This hotel reserves the right to cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases.
- This hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases.
- Article 8 (Accommodation Registration)
- On the day of accommodation, the guest shall register the following items at the front desk of this hotel.
- Name, age, gender, address, contact telephone number and occupation of the guest
- In the case of a foreigner, nationality, passport number, place of entry and date of entry
- Departure date and estimated time of departure
- Other items deemed necessary by the hotel
- In the event that the guest intends to make payment of the charges in accordance with Article 12 by means of a traveler’s check, hotel voucher, credit card, or any other method that can be substituted for currency, the guest shall present them in advance at the time of registration in accordance with the preceding paragraph.
- On the day of accommodation, the guest shall register the following items at the front desk of this hotel.
- Article 9 (Hours of Use of Guest Rooms)
- Guests may use their rooms from 4:00 p.m. on the day of their stay until 10:00 a.m. the following day. However, in the case of a consecutive stay, the guest may use the room for the entire day, except for the day of arrival and the day of departure.
- Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel may accept the use of a room outside the hours specified in the preceding paragraph. In such cases, the following additional charges shall apply.
- Article 10 (Compliance with Rules of Use)
Guests shall comply with the rules of use established by the Hotel and posted in the Hotel while in the Hotel. - Article 11 (Business Hours)
- The hours of operation of the main facilities of the Hotel will be announced in the brochure provided, at various locations, and in the service directory in the guest room.
- The hours of operation in the preceding paragraph may be changed temporarily if necessary or unavoidable. In such cases, the hotel will notify the guests by appropriate means.
- Article 12 (Payment of Charges)
- The accommodation charges payable by the guest shall be as set forth in Appendix 1.
- Payment of the accommodation charges, etc. set forth in the preceding paragraph shall be made at the front desk when the guest arrives or when requested by this hotel, in currency or by a method acceptable to this hotel, such as a travel check, room voucher or credit card, which may be substituted therefor.
- The room charge shall be collected even if the guest voluntarily does not stay at the hotel after the hotel has provided the room to the guest and made it available for his/her use.
- Article 13 (Responsibility of this hotel)
- In the event that this hotel causes damage to the guest due to the performance or non-performance of the accommodation contract and related agreements, this hotel shall compensate for such damage. However, this shall not apply if the damage is not caused by reasons attributable to this hotel.
- The Hotel has taken out Ryokan Liability Insurance to protect against fire, etc. in the event of an accident.
- Article 14 (In the event that the contracted guest room cannot be provided)
- In the event that this hotel is unable to provide the contracted guest room to the guest, this hotel shall, with the consent of the guest, arrange for another accommodation facility with the same conditions as possible.
- If, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, this hotel is unable to find other accommodation, it will pay the guest a compensation fee equivalent to the amount of the penalty, and the compensation fee will be applied to the amount of compensation for damages. However, if there is no reason attributable to this hotel for not being able to provide a room, no compensation shall be paid.
- Article 15 (Handling of Deposited Items, etc.)
- In the event of loss, damage or other loss of or damage to articles, cash or valuables deposited by the Guest at the front desk, the Hotel shall compensate for such damage, except where such damage is caused by force majeure. However, with respect to cash and valuables, in the event that the Hotel requests that the Guest disclose the type and value of such items and the Guest fails to do so, the Hotel shall compensate for such damages up to a maximum of 150,000 yen.
- In the event that a guest brings into the hotel any articles, cash or valuables that have not been left at the front desk, and that are lost, damaged or otherwise damaged due to the intentional or negligent act of the hotel, the hotel will compensate for such damages. However, if the type and value of the items are not specified by the guest in advance, this hotel will compensate for damages up to 150,000 yen, except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of this hotel; provided, however, that if the type and value of the items are not specified by the guest in advance, this hotel will compensate for damages up to 150,000 yen.
- This hotel shall not be liable for the following items even when a claim for damages is made pursuant to Paragraphs 1 and 2.
- Manuscripts, designs, drawings, books, and other similar items (including items stored on magnetic tapes, magnetic disks, CD-ROMs, optical disks, and other recording media that can be directly or indirectly processed by information equipment (computers and peripheral equipment such as terminal equipment thereof)).
- Article 16 (Storage of Baggage or Personal Effects of Guests)
- In the event that a guest’s baggage arrives at this hotel prior to his/her stay, this hotel shall take responsibility for its safekeeping only if it has been accepted by this hotel prior to the arrival of the baggage, and shall deliver it to the guest when he/she checks in at the front desk.
- In the event that a guest’s baggage or personal belongings are left unattended at the hotel after the guest has checked out, the hotel will, as a rule, await an inquiry from the owner of the baggage or personal belongings for his/her instructions. In the absence of the owner’s instruction or if the owner cannot be identified, the hotel will report the lost baggage to the nearest police station within 7 days from the date of discovery for valuables, and dispose of other items after a lapse of 3 months. However, food, beverages, cigarettes, magazines, etc. that are detrimental to the sanitary environment will be disposed of on the same day.
- In the case of the preceding two paragraphs, the Hotel’s responsibility for the custody of the Guest’s baggage or personal belongings shall be in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of the preceding article in the case of paragraph 1, and in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 2 of the same article in the case of the preceding paragraph.
- Article 17 (Liability of Guests)
In the event that this hotel suffers damages due to the intentional or negligent act of a guest, said guest shall compensate this hotel for such damages. - Article 18 (Revision of the General Terms and Conditions)
These General Terms and Conditions may be revised from time to time as necessary. In the event of any revision of these general terms and conditions, the Hotel shall post the revised terms and conditions and the effective date on the Hotel’s website or in the guest room.

- Note: If the tax law is revised, the revised provisions shall apply.
- Basic room charge is based on the table posted under Basic Room Charge.
- Preschool children are free of charge as long as they share the same bed with a parent or guardian (sleeping together). Pre-school students and older are charged at the adult rate.
- Appended Table 2 Breakdown of Accommodation Charges, etc. (Re: Article 2, Paragraph 1 and Article 12, Paragraph 1)
- Attention
- The % refers to the penalty fee rate for the basic room charge (room charge excluding taxes).
- If the contracted number of days is shortened, a penalty fee for one day (the first day) will be collected regardless of the number of shortened days.
- In the event of cancellation of a contract for a portion of a group of guests (10 rooms or 15 or more persons), no penalty will be charged for the number of guests that is equal to 10% of the number of guests (any fractional number will be rounded up) 10 days prior to the stay (or the date of acceptance if the application is accepted later than 10 days prior to the date of acceptance). In other cases, a penalty fee will be charged in accordance with the above regulations.
- This does not apply to applications made through travel agencies, the Internet, etc.
- A separate penalty fee may be charged for specific dates.
- If the hotel agrees to a special agreement within the scope that does not violate laws, regulations, or customs, such special agreement shall prevail regardless of the preceding paragraph.
